Considering getting filler but not sure where to start? You’re in the right place! Whether you’re curious about which areas can be treated, how the process feels, or which products might be best for you, we’ve got you covered. At Ventura Coast Med Spa, we believe in enhancing your natural beauty with subtle, expert results. We’re here to answer all your questions and make sure you feel confident and comfortable every step of the way. Let’s dive into everything you need to know about dermal fillers!
What areas of the face can filler treat?
Filler can be used in almost every area of the face! We use multiple different types of fillers to address the various causes that contribute to visible signs of aging, and each filler has different properties for different areas of the face. From under eye filler to reduce hollowing, to lip filler used for creating a plump pout, the possibilities are endless! Some common areas that we inject filler are the lips, cheeks, chin, jawline, smile lines, marionette lines, and temples. Filler can even be injected into the hands!
Do lip injections hurt?
For most patients, lip injections are painless! We apply a strong topical numbing cream for 20-30 minutes before your injections, and the filler contains lidocaine for additional numbing during the procedure. You may feel a tiny pinch at first, but once the lidocaine is injected, you’ll be nice and comfortable throughout your treatment.
Will it be obvious that I’ve had filler done?
No! Our goal is always to deliver subtle, natural results. We like to say “the best injectable is undetectable”! Our experienced provider uses expert injection techniques to replace lost volume and subtly accent your natural features without changing your appearance. You may experience some bruising and swelling for a few days after injections, but once your final results are settled, your filler treatment will be undetectable!
Can I get cheek filler and chin filler in the same visit?
Absolutely! You can get multiple areas of the face treated with dermal filler in the same visit. Many patients prefer to treat multiple areas at once in order to minimize the downtime that is expected after filler injections. You can certainly choose to treat each area separately, but that does increase the amount of times you may experience bruising and swelling after your injections. Opt for one of our filler packages to save on multiple syringes of filler for a full facial balancing treatment!
Which filler is better, Restylane Kysse or Juvederm lip filler?
The best lip filler is the one that your injector recommends! Here at Ventura Coast Med Spa, we carry Juvederm, Restylane, and RHA filler. Each filler has different properties that make certain brands a better choice for specific patients. We understand that every face is unique, and filler treatments are not one-size-fits-all. Your injector will listen to your concerns and your treatment goals, and choose the filler that will best help you achieve them!
